Wolf - Wölfel

Wolffall

The Wilczka (German: Wölfel) is an approx. 20 km long wild mountain and tributary of the Glatzer Neisse in the southwest Poland in the voivodeship Lower Silesia. It arises in the Glatzer snow mountains in the Glatzer Ländchen.

Run

The Wilczka rises at Międzygórze on the slope of the Glatzer Schneeberg and flows westwards, where it falls into the abyss when the wolf falls. It ends at Bystrzyca Kłodzka to the Glatzer Neisse. The lower reaches of the mountain river can be traveled by canoe or kayak. As there are numerous rapids, the ride is not easy. The clean and fish-rich river is also appreciated by sport anglers. At its source there is a hut from which you can walk along the stream to the waterfall.
