Waidhaus (Upper Palatinate Woihaus) is a market in Upper Palatinate Forest on the border to Czech Republic.

The community consists of the following districts: Berghaus, Birklohe, Frankenreuth, Grafenau, Hagendorf, Heilinghaus, Hörlmühle, Kühmühle, Marxmühle, Naglerhof, Oberströbl, Ödkührieth, paper mill, Pfälzerhof, Pfrentsch, Reichenau, Reinhardsrieth, Waidhaus, Zieglhütte.

The closest international airport is the Nuremberg Airport, about 1.5 hours away by car (arrival via the A 6 / A 3).

By train

The next train station is in Willows in the Upper Palatinate, then continue with the bus.

By bus

In the street

Waidhaus is on the Autobahn 6A6, Exit 76 Waidhaus and on 1 Waidhaus-Rozvadov border crossing . In the Czech Republic then continue on the toll Dálnice D5 to Pilsen and Prague.

There is also a smaller one 2 Waidhaus-Rozvadov border crossing, who is in the neighboring Czech municipality Rozvadov leads.
