Water meadows is a hamlet in the canton Appenzell Innerrhoden, it belongs formally to the Schwende district.
background
On the territory of the district Schwende is the place Wasserauen, which in fact only consists of a few courtyards, the end of the line of the Appenzell Railway and the valley station of the Cable car on the Ebenalp consists.
Historically, the hamlet of Wasserauen received importance as a station of the "Säntis Railway". - Schäfler - Altenalptürme - Öhrli - Girenspitz - Säntis

Seealpsee
