Wellsford is a small town in the region Auckland.

Wellsford is in the Rodney district on SH 1 north of Warkworth, Practically all traffic in the northern part of the peninsula flows through the city. Therefore it is a center especially for the rural population. It's not far to the west of the city Kaipara Harbor, to the east are the Mangawhai Heads beaches, popular with surfers.
