Wenningstedt-Braderup is a municipality on the German island Sylt. It is located north of Westerland and extends from the west coast to the east coast of the island.

Wenningstedt was part of the Sylt municipality "Norddörfer" in the middle of the 19th century, further parts of the municipality were Braderup and Kampen. The place further north Cunning belonged to German-Danish War nor to Denmark. In 1927 Kampen separated from the municipality of Norddörfer, which was renamed "Wenningstedt" in the same year. Since 2002 the community has its current name "Wenningstedt-Braderup".

Wenningstedt is a centrally located place in the middle of the island Sylt. This is where the "Red cliff". A nice hike is above the cliff almost to the next place Kampen possible.
