Urban centers
- Birmingham - The second largest city by population of UK.
- Coventry - Coventry Cathedral is one of the newest English cathedrals, having been rebuilt after the destruction of the ancient 14th century church dedicated to St Michael during World War II.
- Dudley - Of interest are its castle, the city zoo and the ruins of the monastery.
- Solihull - The headquarters of the UK Athletics, the athletics federation of UK.
- Walsall - The city is famous for its leather and saddle industry (to visit the Leather Museum) which earned it the title of world leather capital.
- Wolverhampton - Founded in 985, in the Middle Ages it was an important center for the wool trade, later becoming a center of heavy industry during the Industrial Revolution.
