Public transport

Within the urban area, Erbenheim can mainly be reached via bus lines 5 and 15. With line 28 there is a direct bus connection to both Wiesbaden main train station and Mainz-Kastel train station (Wiesbaden / AKK) and the main train station Mainz. In addition, there is a railway connection with the Erbenheim railway stop of the regional railway, the line of which also begins at Wiesbaden Central Station and leads via Erbenheim to the two other Wiesbaden districts Igstadt and Auringen-Medenbach, the line ends in Niedernhausen.

Private transport

Erbenheim is conveniently located on the federal motorway 66, from here it is only a few kilometers to the Wiesbaden motorway junction to reach the federal motorway 3. The federal highway 455 provides another accessibility. In contrast to many other motorway filling stations, the two motorway filling stations at Erbenheimer Höhe on the A66 are comparatively cheap and can keep up with the prices in Wiesbaden.

The local history museum is housed in the former town hall. Furthermore there is with the Harlequinhood a joke and humor museum. As both museums are privately run, there are no regular opening times.

In Erbenheim there are two larger grocery stores for daily needs. A drinks dealer and a local bakery with a bakery. There are also two sales outlets for a bakery that is spread throughout the city.

Regional products can also be found in the Domain Mechtildshausen as well as the farm shop Erbenheim farm can be acquired. Since both are a bit outside of the town center, it makes sense to use a vehicle.

A pronounced nightlife is less likely to be found in the district. For this purpose, people tend to go to the inner cities of Wiesbaden and Mainz.
