Reason: This district of Wiesbaden does not need its own article and can easily be in Wiesbaden incorporated. In general, it makes little sense (except in the special case of AKK) to split Wiesbaden into parts of the city. |
Wiesbaden-Erbenheim is a district of Wiesbaden.
background
The Erbenheim district has almost 10,000 inhabitants and was incorporated into Wiesbaden in 1928.
getting there
Public transport
Within the urban area, Erbenheim can mainly be reached via bus lines 5 and 15. With line 28 there is a direct bus connection to both Wiesbaden main train station and Mainz-Kastel train station (Wiesbaden / AKK) and the main train station Mainz. In addition, there is a railway connection with the Erbenheim railway stop of the regional railway, the line of which also begins at Wiesbaden Central Station and leads via Erbenheim to the two other Wiesbaden districts Igstadt and Auringen-Medenbach, the line ends in Niedernhausen.
Private transport
Erbenheim is conveniently located on the federal motorway 66, from here it is only a few kilometers to the Wiesbaden motorway junction to reach the federal motorway 3. The federal highway 455 provides another accessibility. In contrast to many other motorway filling stations, the two motorway filling stations at Erbenheimer Höhe on the A66 are comparatively cheap and can keep up with the prices in Wiesbaden.
