Niedernhausen is a community in Taunus in the Rheingau-Taunus district.
background
The neighboring communities are in the west Taunusstein in the North Idstein, in the East Eppstein and in the southwest Wiesbaden. It is a former agricultural village in the Taunus that, due to its location as the terminus of the S-Bahn from Frankfurt, has become interesting as a cheaper residential area for commuters to Frankfurt and Höchst.

By plane
The Frankfurt am Main airport is 30 km away and offers numerous national and international flight connections. From the airport you can either take a taxi or the S-Bahn (details under Arriving by train) travel on.
By train
Of Frankfurt The S-Bahn line runs from the city center 
every half hour to quarter of an hour to Niedernhausen. The RegionalExpress runs every hour to two hours from Frankfurt Hbf to Limburg. Of Wiesbaden you can get out every hour with a line of Vectus transport company arrive.
By bus
Line 22 runs from German Unity Square in Wiesbaden to Niedernhausen, the journey takes 30 minutes.You can drive to the Niedernhausen train station, town center (town hall) and the Oberjosbach district.

By bicycle
Eppstein is on the Hessian long-distance cycle route R8 (Limburg - Frankfurt-Höchst). The long-distance cycle path runs north on the outskirts of Niedernhausen and through Oberjosbach, then down to the east of Niederjosbach Eppstein.
