Doubts is a community in the Hohenloher level.

Zweiflingen was first mentioned in a document in 1230. In the 15th century the place came under the rule of the Hohenlohe family. After the principality of Hohenlohe was dissolved in 1806, Zweiflingen became part of Württemberg. Before the municipality reform, the villages of Eichach, Friedrichsruhe, Pfahlbach and Tiefensall belonged to the municipality of Zweiflingen. In 1972 the municipalities of Orendelsall and Westernbach were incorporated.
