Île des Pins it is an island in the New Caledonia.

To know

Located south of Grande Terre and separated from it by a 70 km stretch of sea where coral reefs abound, Île des Pins is renowned for the beauty of its landscapes but also for its white sand beaches.

Île des Pins has been nicknamed "the closest island to Paradise" but it is also true that it is very expensive and makes your wallet cry. The high prices are well known to the inhabitants of Nouméa who hardly ever go there preferring a trip to Sydney or Brisbane at a cost not much higher.

Average prices

  • Village Vacances Inter-Armées - I.G.E.S.A, On the beach of Kuto, 687 461 919, fax: 687 461 903. This holiday village is reserved for active or retired soldiers and their families. The only flaw the bungalows are not on the beach.
  • Relais de Kuberka, Kuto Bay, 687 461 118, fax: 687 461 158. The unit consists of three bungalows for 2/3 people with private bathroom, TV and refrigerator, eight single, double and triple rooms plus a space for camping. The Relais de Kuberka has a swimming pool but is not on the beach.
