Arrive

By plane

Wenzhou Airport in the east of the city. The airport receives flights from all over China, and since it also supports flights to and from Hong Kong, it is considered international. Wenzhou Airport recently built a new terminal. You can go from the airport to the city center by taxi or bus. Taxis are the most expensive and you should haggle a lot, if they don't then you should say take the bus. If a taxi driver offers you a ride under 100 yen it can be considered a good price. Taking the bus is now much easier due to a ticket desk at the new station opposite the exit gate. The bus costs 12¥ and runs through the new cities (新城; Xincheng), Xialüpu (下 吕 浦; Xiàlǚpǔ) and eventually stops at a station on Nanpu Road (南浦 路; Nánpǔlù).

By train

Wenzhou Central Station serves most cities across China, although because of the Wenzhou mountain, the train journey is sometimes longer than the bus journey. The train station is at the major junction of Wenzhou Avenue (温州 大道; Wēnzhōudàdào) where it meets Xia Zhan Avenue (车站 大道; Chēzhàndàdào).

Wenzhou Nan Railway Station (温州南站; Wen Zhou Nan Zhan), opened in 2009, is served by high-speed trains from Shanghai, bound for Fuzhou and Xiamen. Some stations along the way are Hangzhou, Ningbo and Taizhou.
