The church, built in 1610, was completely renovated in 1784 and rebuilt in 1854. Until 1959 the roof was thatched, which was replaced with shingle. Another major renovation took place in 1981. The temple is surrounded by an old tree stand. It is surrounded by a wall with a Baroque gate from the 18th century.

It is a hall church with no separate chancel. The structure is closed with a brick octagonal sacristy built in 1936. The domed roof of the sacristy is crowned with a tin cupola with a lantern. On the roof of the temple, there are two steel-covered turrets with lanterns. A brick tomb chapel of the Potocki family, erected in the neo-Romanesque style, comes from 1854.

Next to the church there is a wooden bell tower with a pillar-frame structure, covered with a gable roof, from 1863, and the bell hanging in it was cast in 1684 to commemorate the victory of Jan III Sobieski at Vienna.
