  • In Wheel you will find a wonderful pebble beach and good tourist facilities, which are preferred mainly by British tourists. In Roda you will find English bars, taverns for British fans and a traditional English breakfast. Canoe, outboard and pedal boats can be rented for those who love the sea. By bus you can make a day trip to the island's capital.
  • THE Αχαράβη next to Roda also has this wonderful pebble beach. Here you will find many souvenir shops, bars, restaurants. It also has a disco, while there is a bank for your transactions. In car rental shops you will be served by Herz, Europcar and Avis. The beach is ideal for those who love walking.
  • THE Cassiopeia is a quiet place with beautiful nature and beautiful beach with pebbles and crystal clear water.
  • O Saint Stephan is 4 km from Kassiopi. It is a quiet place without much traffic, with nice taverns, supermarkets, and rental boats. On the beach you can swim with a nice view to the opposite Albania. There are two other Saints Stephen in Corfu.

How to get there

Corfu State Airport "Ioannis Kapodistrias"

Corfu Airport "Ioannis Kapodistrias" is 3 km from the city center. It serves flights from Athens and Thessaloniki, as well as direct flights from many major cities in Europe but also, mainly during the summer months, chartered flights (charters) from all over Europe. Also, the airport of Corfu is connected with flight tactics with the airports of Preveza, Zakynthos, Cephalonia, Kythera and with the airports of Crete (Heraklion - Sitia) with the airline Sky Express.

Ships pass through / from the port Brindisi, the Bari, τη Venice, the Patras, while in the summer they regularly anchor cruise ships. In the south of the island is the port Cape, which is connected by ferry to Igoumenitsa.

How to move

Corfu has two bus lines, the city bus (blue bus) and the intercity bus (green bus). The blue serves the routes from the capital of the island to the nearby destinations, while the green goes all over the island and makes stops everywhere.

The cuisine in Corfu is Greek. In the taverns of the island are served dishes with fish, salmon, red mullet, gopa, marida, sargo, sea bream, squid, anchovy and more. From meat there are pork and beef steaks, ribs, chicken, burger and skewers. In the traditional shops are served genuine Corfiot food such as pastitsada, sofrito and burdeto, while for foreigners pizza is also offered.
