Alpbachtal - Alpbachtal

The Alpbachtal is a side valley of the Inn Valley and a valley in the Kitzbühel Alps. The name comes from the Alpbach, which flows through the entire valley. The neighboring valleys of the Alpbachtal are the Zillertal and Wildschönau.

Bathing lakes in the Alpbachtal

  • REINTALERSEE: The Reintaler See is the largest of the Kramsacher lakes and, like the Krummsee, is one of the warmest bathing lakes in Tyrol with temperatures of up to 25 ° C. Well-tended sunbathing lawns, restaurants, buffets, a children's playground, boat rental and camping sites ensure a great water experience.
Facts: The total of 29.4 hectares of Reintaler Lake is divided into three basins. The maximum depth of 10.3 m was measured in the eastern basin.

  • KRUMMSEE: The Krummsee is also one of the warmest bathing lakes in Tyrol - however, bathing is closed until further notice.
  • REITHER SEE: The "Blue Eye Reith", as the Reither See is also called, is located in the center of Reith im Alpbachtal and is an excellent place to refresh yourself after mountain bike tours, hikes or walks.
