The Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart is about four kilometers west of the City center and is the second largest airport in Austria.

By train and bus
The closest train station with national and international connections is the Salzburg Central Station. The next train stop with local connections is the S-Bahn station Salzburg Aiglhof; the trains stop there S3so that this station can also be reached from Germany from Bad Reichenhall and Freilassing.

The airport is located on the street about four kilometers west of Salzburg city center and five kilometers from the German border in the Salzburg district of Maxglan.
