Nursultan ( .) Kazakhstan: -Султан; formerly known as Astana, Akmola, Akmolinsk, Tselinograd, and Aqmola), is the capital and second largest city (after Almaty) belong to Kazakhstan, with an estimated official population (November 1, 2007) of approximately 597,500. The city is located in the north-central part of Kazakhstan, within the province of Akmola, although it is administratively separated from the province and has its own capital.

Nursultan International Airport[1] (IATA : TSEICAO: UACC) is located about 15 km south of the city center of Nursultan. There are routes between this airport and Vienna, Kiev, Moscow, Beijing, Delhi, Seoul, Bangkok, Istanbul, Dubai, London, Amsterdam, Hanover and Frankfurt, as well as domestic routes.Air Astana[2], the national airline of Kazakhstan, has routes with Almaty, Delhi, Dubai, Frankfurt, Hannover, Istanbul-Atatürk, Moscow-Sheremetyevo, and Ürümqi from Nursultan Airport.

Bus 10 connecting the airport with the city center twice every hour, the fare is 60 KZT. Airport taxi to the city center costs about USD20.

Air Astana has direct flights between Almaty and Ho Chi Minh City. From Almaty it is possible to connect a flight to Nursultan.
