Axarquía is a region in the Province of Malaga, Andalucia, Spain. The coastal part of Axarquía is often known as the Costa del Sol Oriental (Costa del Sol East), one of the sunniest places in mainland Spain with the average of 320 sunny days a year.

The A-340 highway runs along the coast, connecting all the coastal centres. The A-7 highway, the A-356, the A-7000 and the A-402 run through the region.
