There is no thermal water in Bad Vilbel because the mineral water is cold. But it is available in abundance and very rich in minerals. The high iron content of the springs makes them particularly noticeable and can actually be seen and tasted due to the rust-red discoloration, for example at the Roman fountain. To preserve these springs, drilling in the area of ​​the city is prohibited and the extraction quantities are strictly regulated.

There are also some fitness devices and various art installations, i.e. statues, but also fountains. Along the Nidda, thanks to well-maintained, partly paved, partly gravel paths, you can hike or cycle well. Various types of city tours in costume are also offered on a regular basis , with which you can also get unfamiliar insights. For example, the Vilbeler Burg can be visited as well as the various historical springs, some of which no longer exist today. In addition, the Bath Museum is located in Frankfurter Straße, where you can get an insight into the history of the local mineral water and its use, as well as the Every year at Whitsun and again in summer, festivals are held in the city, where the local clubs can present themselves (parade through the city center), a fair takes place and a cattle market and fireworks can also be observed at the summer festival.

Along Frankfurter Straße there are many other restaurants (especially in the one-way street area) of various orientations and price levels. Bad Vilbel is a health resort and you can take mineral water baths there, which are characterized by a high carbonic acid content. However, the spa operation is no longer comparable to that of earlier times when Bad Vilbel was a full spa as a spa. Today the city's bathing status is mainly based on the TRINK medicinal water, the mineral wealth of which can be used in a variety of ways. The spa park invites you to take a walk, especially because there is also a small Kneipp bath facility (foot bath, arm bath, barefoot path).
