Bartholomae is a state-approved resort on the Albuch in the Eastern Alb.

Bartholomä - sea of rocks in the wental
- The 1 Wental is the main attraction of Bartholomä, even if a large part is on the district of Steinheim am Albuch lies. It is a dry valley that was formed millions of years ago by a river that flowed through the Steinheim basin and further in the direction of the Brenz valley. In this valley there are typical juniper heaths and bizarre rock formations. Most of this dry valley has been under nature protection since 2008, so entering the areas next to the paths is not permitted everywhere. Most famous are the rock formations of the 2 Felsenmeer and the 3 Wental females. The access to the Wental is at the parking lot next to the Landhotel Wental.
