The Lower Silesia, part of the Historic Silesia, is a voivodeship from the southwest of the Poland.

Lower Silesian Voivodeship (in Polish Województwo Dolnośląskie) is an administrative region (voivodship) in the southwest of Poland. Polish regions are often referred to by the adjective. The Polish name for Lower Silesia is Dolny Śląsk and refers to the historic region of the same name. The region has a population of 2,877 million (2010) and an area of 19,946 km². The capital and largest city is Wrocław.
