The Or is a 866 km long Central European River flowing in Czech Republic rises, then through Poland flows and partly the border between Poland and Germany forms. In Poland it flows through the voivodeships Silesia, Opole, Lower Silesia, Lebus and West Pomerania. It flows through the mouth area Szczecin Lagoon in the Baltic Sea.

Measured from the source, the Oder is not the longest source river in the river system. The Warta is more than 800 km long from the source to the confluence with the Oder. Other tributaries are the Olsa from the Silesian Beskids, the Glatzer Neisse from the Glatzer snow mountains, the Bartsch out Greater Poland Lake District, the Tan from the Sudeten Foreland, the pasture, the Katzbach from the Bober-Katzbach Mountains, the Bober from the Giant Mountains and the Lusatian Neisse from the Jizera Mountains.

  • 1 Or source is located at 634 m on Fidlův Kopec (Fiedelhübel) in the Oder Mountains on the military training area Libavá, about 20 kilometers east of Olomouc in in Czech Republic.
