The Warta (Polish: Warta) is a river in Poland. The estuary regions that are most worthy of protection are in the Warthe Estuary National Park in Lebus protected.

The river Warthe is over 800 km long and has its source in the voivodeship Silesia at Zawiercie and then flows into the voivodeship Łódź. He shapes part of the Greater Poland Lake District in the voivodeship Greater Poland and the voivodeship Lebus. It arises in the Krakow-Czestochowa Jura and ends at Kostrzyn nad Odrą in the Or. At the point of confluence, however, it is also less watery for longer than the Oder.

The Warthe Estuary National Park is a small piece of the tri-border region Lebus, West Pomerania, Brandenburg on the lower section of the Warta immediately before its confluence with the Oder. Largest city in the region is Kostrzyn.

The Wielkopolska National Park lies immediately west of the Warta before it goes through Poses flows.

The area is well developed for tourism. About the Networks and the Bydgoszcz Canal is she with the Brda and the Vistula connected. Other canals connect them with numerous lakes in the Central Polish Lake District. In Wielkopolska, the river is part of the Wielkopolska Loop, a waterway of rivers and canals that forms a circle. The Warta and its entire river network can be navigated for a large part of its length by houseboat or by kayak / canoe. Cycle paths along the river are available near major cities.
