Ląd - Ląd

Ląd (German: Lond) is a historical place in the polish Voivodeship Greater Poland. The place is on the southern edge of the Gnesen Lake District in the historical region Greater Poland in the Kalischer country at the Warta. The city is idyllically situated between wooded moraine hills and lakes. The place is particularly known for its Romanesque-Baroque Cistercian monastery. He is lying on the Way of the Cistercians and at the southern junction of the Romanesque Piast Way.

By plane

The closest international Airport is at Poses. Other nearby international airports are the Bydgoszcz Airport at Bydgoszcz, the Szczecin Airport at Szczecin and the Gdansk Airport at Danzig.

By train

The place has a train station that over Poses is attainable.

By bus

Intercity buses run regularly to Poses and long-distance buses to other cities in the region.

In the street

The road network is well developed.

From Berlin the A12 leads to the border Slubice and further than Autostrada A2 to Poses. It's not far from there.

Alternatively, from southern Germany and Switzerland you can use Prague and from Austria over Brno drive and then from the Polish-Czech border the Autostrada A1 take to A2.
