Mirów is a historical place in the voivodeship Silesia in the Krakow-Czestochowa Jura. The place is best known for its medieval castle ruins and karst landscape. The castle ruins have been restored and rebuilt in recent years. The castle hotel and restaurant is located directly at the castle. The Gothic castle plays in the historical telenovelle "Crown of the Kings" Wawel at the beginning of the 14th century.
getting there
The place is right on the country road between Czestochowa to Krakow, about half an hour's drive from Częstochowa. The castle is a stone's throw west of the village Mirów. Both places are connected by a beautiful hiking trail through the Karst.
