Scale is a city in the voivodeship Lesser Poland. She lies on the Kraków-Częstochowa Jura on the edge of Ojców National Park about half an hour's drive north of Krakow. The place is known for the Renaissance castle in the national park Pieskowa Skała.

Skała is on the edge of the Ojców National Park. The national park established in 1982 includes part of the Krakow-Częstochowa plateau with its limestone cliffs and castle ruins. The area was settled 180,000 years ago.
