Bolívar is one of the federated states of the Venezuelan Guayana in Venezuela.

Geographical notes

It is located in the southeastern part of the country. By car

Bolívar is a remote state. While the northern cities are well connected with the rest of the country, the southern part is sparsely populated and has few roads.

By plane

Many areas can only be reached by plane. Small six-seater vehicles transport tourists to Salto Angel from Ciudad Bolívar to the Canaima National Park.

By car

Route 10, on the other hand, is an asphalted road that runs not far from the eastern border of Bolívar, which connects the Venezuela with the Brazil. Goes through El Callao, El Dorado, San Isidro and Santa Elena. This path is lined with several spectacular waterfalls.
