Bronów - village in Poland located in voivodeship of Lodz, in Poddębicki district, in Wartkowice commune.

In the years 1975–1998, the village administratively belonged to the then Sieradz Province? The first written mention of the village comes from 1391. The lands belonged to the Bronowski family, Korab coat of arms, then to the Koss family. In 1784, the Konopnickis came here, buying the neighboring Spędoszyn. In 1844 Bronów was bought by Wawrzyniec Konopnicki, Jastrzębiec coat of arms - Jarosław's father - husband Maria Konopnicka from the Wasiłowski family, who settled in Bronów in 1862 at the age of 20, where the poet gave birth to six children. After the bankruptcy and sale of Bronów, the Konopnicki family moved to a distance of 15 km Gusin, from where the poet left for permanent residence with her children Of Warsaw.
The manor in Bronów, from the time when Konopnicka left here, belonged to the heir of Biernacice - Artur Dzierżbicki. The wooden manor house was demolished and in its place a brick building, which we see today, was erected.

Worth seeing
After World War II, there was a school in the manor house in Bronów. The origins of the museum appeared in the 1960s, when a corner of memorabilia related to Maria Konopnicka was created in the porch. In 1986, the Maria Konopnicka Chamber was established. On September 1, 1995, the chamber was transformed into the Educational Museum, founded by the Provincial Pedagogical Library - Branch in Sieradz.
