  • There's one shared transport from Ferihegy 1, 2A and 2B to your hotel across greater Budapest, the so-called shuttle bus. Bring more people with you, and bring each one to your hotel. Parliament
  • Mathias Church (Mathias Church)

Mathias Church is in the heart of Buda Castle and can be seen from most of the city, the church which is also known as Church of Our Lady (Nagyboldogasszony temple), was founded by King Béla IV after the invasion that the Mongolian invasion left. Hungary in 1242.

Heroes' Square (Hungarian: Hősök tere) is one of the most important squares in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Originally called the Royal Hungarian Opera, it was financed by the government of Budapest and by the Emperor Franz Joseph I. The construction lasted from 1875 to 1884, having opened in September of that year; in predominantly Neo-Renaissance style. The Hungarian Opera quickly became one of the main stages in Europe, having received around 130 performances per year in the years following its opening.

  • National museum

Founded in 1802, the National Museum of Hungary is the oldest public museum in the country and is home to Hungary's most important collection of historical artifacts. It also became an important symbol of Hungary's national identity when the Hungarian Revolution of 1848 was launched, after a reading taken on the steps in front of the museum. For a time, the Hungarian Parliament chamber also met in the building. The neo-classical building that houses the museum was built between 1837 and 1847, and today it has seven permanent exhibitions. Two sections provide an overview of Hungarian history, while another focuses on modern history since the Rakocizi War of Independence in the early 1700s, and the last chronicles the rise and fall of communism in Hungary. On the ground floor you can find a collection of modern and medieval stone carvings, while on the basement level ancient stone inscriptions and Roman sculptures are on display.
