Bugaj - village in Poland, located in Greater Poland Voivodeship, in Września poviat, in the commune of Miłosław; 16 km southwest of September - by the provincial road No. 441. Known for its historic 19th century Hunting Castle "Bażantarnia". It is located in the Żerków-Czeszewski Landscape Park.

History

The name of the town derives from the God's Grove, which used to exist here, a place where people sought refuge from foreign invaders. There was also a pagan temple here. In the years 1975-1998, the town was administratively part of the Poznań Province.

Bugaj is located on the Września Plain (315.56), a physico-geographic mesoregion in the central-west Poland, constituting the southern part of the Greater Poland Lake District.

A hunting lodge - historic hunting lodge in Bugaj, village Września poviat, in Greater Poland Voivodeship. The little castle was built on a small hill among forests in the 19th century. The stone and brick residential building is single-story. It has an octagonal tower on the west side. Partially surrounded by a defensive wall with battlement, loopholes and a tower. There is a wooden hideout in the corner on the wall. The whole thing looks like a medieval stronghold. It is now a private property.
