Burrell boom is a city in Belize District in Belize.
background
In the past, when the timber was still being transported over the Belize River, a large chain was stretched right here to catch the timber. Remnants of the chain and its anchoring can still be seen. Today it is more of a transit point and is located on the connecting road between the Northern Highway and the Western Highway, which is mainly used by those who Belize City want to avoid. Last but not least, the petrol station lures many to take a break here. But whoever makes a stop here shouldn't regret it. In addition to river romance, there are a lot of birds to watch.
