Bábolna is a small town in Transdanubia in Hungary.

History
The first Hungarian mention of Bábolna took place in 1268, of the church in 1328. After the Turkish era, cattle or horses were often directed to Austria. In 1789 there was a resting place for cattlemen and also for cattle, because there was a good pasture. In 1816 horses began to be bred. In 1948 a state farm was founded from the farm, just 10 years later Bábolna was declared a village, finally in 2003 a town. In that period businessman Róbert Burgert was the leader of the state farm, he did a lot of work both for the farm and for the future city.
