What see
- 1 Lura Park - Roccolo Visitor Center, Provincial Road n. 31 of the Pioda, ☎ 39 031 901491, fax: 39 031 8881621, @[email protected]. The park extends over 12 municipalities in the provinces of Varese, Como and Milan around the Lura river from which it takes its name. Crossed by many itineraries, it can be visited either on foot or by bicycle. The administrative seat is a Cadorago in Largo Clerici, 1.
- 2 Villa Clerici and Scalabrini park, Via Scalabrini, 153. The villa was built in 1416 by the Porro family and then renovated in the 19th century by the new owners, the Rospini-Clerici family. Worth seeing are the Renaissance frescoes and stuccoes that decorate the interiors. The Scalabrini park was once the gardens of Villa Clerici.
- Villa Coquio. Villa from the end of the 16th century, originally the country residence of the Coquio family from Como.
- Villa Rospini. The villa, the rustic rooms and the spinning mill were articulated around the noble court, occupying an entire block; the garden, surrounded by a wall, stood on the other side of the district of San Vito.
- Villa Porro. The existence of the villa is documented since the end of the 16th century. Until the 19th century it belonged to the Porro-Carcano family who owned most of the real estate properties in Asnago. In 1990-92 it was almost completely destroyed, to make way for a new residential complex. The private oratory of the Porro and a splendid garden that slopes down towards the Seveso valley remain.
