Coahuila it is a state Mexican more exactly in the Northern Mexico.

Geographical notes

It also borders to the east with the State of Nuevo León, south with San Luis Potosí is Zacatecas and in the west with Durango is Chihuahua.

Much of the state is occupied by the Chihuahuan desert, while the Sierra Madre Oriental it delimits the eastern border.

  • Torreón - The colossal statue of Cristo de las Noas dominates the city, located on the top of the Cerro de las Noas hill.

Other destinations

  • Cuatrociénegas - A unique ecosystem. The spring pools that fill the Cuatrociénegas valley are home to a number of plant and animal species that are not found anywhere else on earth. Much of the valley is a protected nature reserve, although some of the larger pools (called Pozas) are open to the public for snorkeling and swimming.
  • Sierra del Carmen - This is the largest wilderness area in theLatina north of Patagonia. It is located right in front of the rio dal Big Bend National Park.
