Territories and tourist destinations

  • Bac Trung Bo (Bắc Trung Bộ) - Located on the north-central coast. Huế, ancient capital bathed by the river of perfumes appears in the list of the World Heritage Sites ofUNESCO. The city is located just south of the former demilitarized zone of the 17th parallel which until 1976 marked the border between the two Vietnamese (North and South). Not far from Huế sta il Bach Ma national park, established in 1991 to protect endangered fauna species that find refuge in the forests that cover the slopes of the Annamiti Mountains.
  • Nam Trung Bo (Nam Trung Bộ) - Located on the central-southern coast. Da Nang, among the main ports of the country, is a prosperous city of about 1,000,000 inhabitants with beautiful beaches in its surroundings. However, the busiest seaside resort in the region and in the whole of Vietnam is Nha Trang with a 7 km long beach and endless leisure opportunities. In the list of World Heritage Sites byUNESCO figure the historic center of the city of Hoi An, a port known in colonial times as "Faifo". From Hoi Nan proceeding inland, after about fifty kilometers, you will find the archaeological site of Mỹ Sơn, a complex of Hindu temples included in the World Heritage List ofUNESCO.

  • Lang Co - Fishing village that includes mountains, a river, a lagoon, an island and 32 km of beach. .
  • Nha Trang - Popular seaside resort.
  • Here Nhon - Lively city relatively free of tourists, makes a great stopover in between Nha Trang is Hoi An.

  • Cham Islands (Cu Lao Cham) - Group of 7 islands 9 nautical miles off the east coast of Hoi An.
  • Mỹ Sơn - Monumental complex of ruins of temples, heritage ofUNESCO, which were once the main place of worship of the Champa civilization near Hoi An.

  • Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park - The park area is one of the largest limestone regions in the world, and is characterized by the presence of several hundred caves and caves.
