The East Coast of the New Scotland is a region of maritime provinces to Canada.
Understand
The East Coast of the New Scotland is less populated and has fewer tourist attractions than the South side, but it still has its charm with its small villages, its often deserted beaches and its coastline with the Atlantic Ocean as far as the eye can see. The region is inhabited by Acadian and Mi'kmaq communities.

Highway 7 crosses the Center and West of the region and joins Dartmouth to the west and Antigonish North. For its part, Highway 16 crosses the region's east coast and connects Guysborough and Canso to the Trans-Canada Highway.
