Geographical notes
Denbighshire faces north on the Irish Sea, bordering the unitary district to the east Flintshire, to the south-east and to the south with that of Wrexham, south with the Powys and to the west with the unitary district of Conwy.
The territory is mainly hilly. To the east rises the hill chain of the Clwydian Range and to the west the hilly area ofHiraethog Moors.
