Flintshire (in Welsh Sir y Fflint) is a region of the North Wales in UK.

Geographical notes
The county is bordered to the north by the Bay of Liverpool and to the east by the estuary of the River Dee. It borders to the east and south-east with the Cheshire, to the south with the unitary district of Wrexham and to the west with the county of Denbighshire.
The territory near the coast is flat, while the remaining territory is characterized by chains of low hills.
