To know
How to orient yourself
The heart of Dijon is represented by the place de la Liberté, a square in the shape of a hemicycle, dominated by the bulk of the ducal palace. The main axis of the center also bears the name of Rue de La Liberté and has an east-west trend. The artery starts from Place Darcy, beyond which, proceeding west on boulevard Sévigné, is the train station.
Other interesting streets in the center are the rue de Forges where the Dijon tourist office is at number 11 (Tél.: 33 892 700 558) and the rue de la Verrerie with antique shops.
Neighborhoods outside the central area have a mundane aspect and have nothing to hold the tourist's attention.
