Sucre is a department of the Caribbean region of the Colombia.

Geographical notes
The department of Sucre is bathed in the west by the Caribbean Sea, bordered in the north, east and south by the Bolívar department, south with the department of Antioquia and to the west with the department of Córdoba.
The territory of Sucre is mainly flat and is crossed by the Cauca river and other rivers that descend towards the Magdalena valley.
