The islands ofNorthern Aegean constitute a geographical and administrative region of the Greece. They look less sunny when compared to their neighbors Cyclades or al Dodecanese.

- Samo - Island next to the coasts Anatolians
- Furni (Fournoi) is Icaria - West of Samo of which they constitute an administrative dependency.
- Lesbos - The island where the poet Sappho was born, also known as Mytilene.
- Lemnos - The island of Hephaestus.
- Chios - Another island near the coast Turkish surrounded by miniature archipelagos.
- Samothrace - The island where the famous statue of Nike was found, now exhibited at the Louvre museum in Paris. It can be reached by ferry from Alexandoupoli.
- Thasos (In Greek: Θάσος) - A very green island off the coast of fruit salad. It can be reached by ferry from the port of Kavala
