Eislingen / Fils is a town near Göppingen at the foot of the Swabian Alb.

The town of Eislingen / Fils was created in 1933 by amalgamating the formerly independent towns of Großeislingen (north of the Fils) and Kleineislingen (south of the Fils). The third district is Krummwälden, it has developed from a hamlet that used to belong to Großeislingen. In 2012 Eislingen was elevated to a major district town.

Neighboring communities are Ottenbach, Salach, Cuties, Schlat and Goeppingen
