Endingen AG is a community in Available in the canton Aargau in the SwitzerlandUntil 1945, the municipality was called Oberendingen in order to distinguish itself from the neighboring municipality of Unterendingen.

Endingen was together with the neighboring community Lengnau, in the 18th and 19th centuries the only place where Jews were allowed to settle permanently in Switzerland. For this reason there is neither a Catholic nor a Reformed church in the village, but a synagogue.

getting there

Endingen can be reached by car via main road No. 17. She leads from Döttingen through the Surbtal and the Wehntal to Dielsdorf.

There are three post bus lines that serve Endingen. The one from Döttingen to Swimming, of Brugg to Bad Zurzach as well as from Döttingen to Niederweningen. It is possible to change to the train at all end stations of the bus lines.
