climate
The same climate prevails as in the rest of Aargau. More details are on the side of the canton Aargau described. The worst travel weather is November, when there is often thick fog. The best time to travel is at the end of September & October, when the grape harvest takes place here and there are many festivals, such as the Winzerfest in Döttingen or the Wysonntig in Tegerfelden. A high Alemannic Swiss German is spoken in the Zurzibiet. Standard German is generally understood.

By train: Two S-Bahn lines of the Aargau S-Bahn run through the Zurzibiet:
- the S23 of Baden AG via Turgi-Döttingen to Koblenz and further to Waldshut or Bad Zurzach
- and the S41 of Waldshut via Koblenz - Bad Zurzach - Kaiserstuhl AG - Eglisau - Bulach to Winterthur.
