Florida Keys - Florida Keys

The Florida Keys are a group of around 1700 islands in the south and southwest of Florida. You are part of the Monroe County. the mainland part of which is, however, only very sparsely inhabited.

The 40 most important and most interesting keys for tourists are driven by the Overseas Highway, the southernmost section of the U.S. Highway 1, and can be easily reached by car. The Overseas Highway toll is $ 1.

Tourist Attractions

The climate in the Florida Keys is subtropical (Köppen climate classification: Aw), and the Keys are the only frost-free place in Florida. There are two "seasons": hot and humid from June to October, and a slightly drier and cooler weather from November to May.
