Freising train station is on the Munich - Regensburg and Munich - Passau lines;

The S-Bahn connects Freising every 20 minutes (during the day) or every 40 minutes (in the evening) with the state capital Munich.

Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan

Oldest brewery in the world, in the Hofgarten, open all year round; In 725, St. Korbinian and twelve companions founded a Benedictine monastery on the Nutrient Mountain, and a hop garden near the monastery has been occupied since 768. The Furtner Bräu can look back on a history dating back to 1513, making it one of the most traditional restaurants in the city. However, the brewery closed in 1967, the associated pub in 2007.
