Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan
Oldest brewery in the world, in the Hofgarten, open all year round; In 725, St. Korbinian and twelve companions founded a Benedictine monastery on the Nutrient Mountain, and a hop garden near the monastery has been occupied since 768. - 1 Furtner Brew, Obere Hauptstrasse 42, 85354 Freising. Typical Bavarian restaurant, also with lots of young people, sometimes with pub music. The Furtner Bräu can look back on a history dating back to 1513, making it one of the most traditional restaurants in the city. However, the brewery closed in 1967, the associated pub in 2007. In 2012, it reopened as a pub and with Augustiner beer.
