Frick is a community in Swiss Canton Aargau.

background

The market town of Frick is located in a basin of the Frick valley measuring around 1 kilometer, at the junction to the Jura passes Bözberg, Staffelegg and Benkerjoch. Already in Roman times a road ran through here, which Augusta Raurica With Vindonissa Association. So it is not surprising that a place was able to develop here in the Middle Ages. During the Austrian rule, it even became the capital of the Fricktal region.
