What see

Fjord of Furore
Nave of the Church of San Michele
  • 1 Fjord of Furore. Despite the name by which it is commonly known, it is actually a rìa, a narrow stretch of water located at the mouth of an overhanging valley, created by the incessant work of the Schiato stream that runs from Agerola along the mountain until it plunges at sea, and welcoming a tiny seaside village that was inhabited, among others, by Roberto Rossellini (who shot the film L'amore there) and Anna Magnani, who was then romantically linked to the director and who was the interpreter of a episode of that same movie. A small museum dedicated to them is housed in one of the houses.
  • Church of San Michele Arcangelo.
  • Church of San Giacomo.
  • Church of San Elia.

Events and parties

  • World Championship of Diving from Great Heights. Simple icon time.svgSummer. On the 30 m high suspension bridge that spans the Furore fjord, a stage of the world diving championship takes place every summer.
