Geltendorf is a city in Upper Bavaria, known from the knight tournament of the same name in the Kaltenberg district.

By plane
Closest commercial airport with international connections is Munich - Franz Josef Strauss, about 30 kilometers north of Munich. The airport is about 70 kilometers away from Geltendorf, with normal traffic conditions it is an hour's drive.

- The Kaltenberg knight tournament in Kaltenberg Castle in the district of the same name takes place every year on the weekends in July, with a total of more than 100,000 spectators, it is the largest knight tournament of modern times.
- At the daily events, professional stunt troops present an elaborate, approx. 2-hour show spectacle with numerous fantasy elements and horse stunts, which is completed by a supporting program of jugglers, musicians and acrobats from various regional and national groups (hobby and professional groups).
