By plane
Closest commercial airport with international connections is Munich - Franz Josef Strauss, about 30 kilometers north of Munich. The airport is about 70 kilometers away from Geltendorf, with normal traffic conditions it is an hour's drive.

- The Kaltenberg knight tournament in Kaltenberg Castle in the district of the same name takes place every year on the weekends in July, with a total of more than 100,000 spectators, it is the largest knight tournament of modern times.
