To go
- From Medenine, follow the RN 19 road, heading south, in the direction of Tataouine. TO Bir lahmar, turn right, south-west, onto the tarmac road joining the C 21 road. Take the latter on the right (towards the west) and continue for approximately 6 km.
- From Tataouine, one reaches Ghomrassen by following, towards the north (direction Medenine), the road RN 19. In the city of Tahrir, take, on the left (towards the north-west), the road C 21. You can also, between the Elbber city and the Jasmin district, take the C 207 road.

To see
- The landscapes from the edge of the desert Sahara, Between Medenine and Ghomrassen. From the reddish and stony ground emerge a few mesas. The few water points are marked by bushes and a handful of palm trees.
- The cave dwellings which dominate the village.
- 1 Ksar Hadada – a well-known Ksar in the region, very visited by tourists. The ksar has now partly become a hotel where tourists stop. Part of it was used by director George Lucas in the movie Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace to create the village of Mos Espa, on the planet Tatooine, where Anakin Skywalker was born.
