Glurns(Italian: Glorenza; Romansh: Gluorn) is the smallest town with around 900 inhabitants South Tyrol, it is in the upper part Vinschgau.

Gluns was first mentioned in a document in 1163. The place received market rights in 1291, and Glurns has had city rights since 1304. During the Engadine war Glurns was largely destroyed in 1499. During the reconstruction, the city was fortified with a wall that is still intact today.
